The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has a solution to both these issues with its new Last-Minute Rush ticket initiative.
MSO audiences will now be given the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets in the last 48 hours prior to select concerts at Hamer Hall. Tickets are subject to availability, at the cost of $40 and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis from the box office.
