Centres for research, study and education were the big winners in architecture awards across three states last week.

In Tasmania, a research centre for marine and Antarctic studies, the UTAS Institute for Marine & Antarctic Studies (IMAS), by John Wardle Architects + Terroir, swept the field, with two Named Awards and three Architecture Awards across various categories, including Public and Urban Design.
