Despite initial concerns, reports on Friday morning that Carlton’s historic La Mama Theatre was once again ablaze have proved false.
Melbourne Fire Brigade has confirmed that a small fire broke out at a restaurant on University Street in Carlton, immediately behind the theatre, just after 7:15am this morning.
