Bluesfest has released its first announcement of artists for its 25 year celebrations.
John Mayer and the Dave Matthews Band lead an impressive lineup for the festival running 17 to 21 April 2014.
John Mayer last appeared at Bluesfest in 2007 after the release of his third album, Continuum. Despite controversial appearances in the media, Mayer still remains a well-respected artist. During 2011 and 2012, Mayer had surgery to remove granulomas from his throat. He has since made a full recovery releasing his 6th album, Paradise Valley on 23 August.
