Arts Minister orders opera review

Senator George Brandis has appointed a three-member panel to determine if $32 million in federal funding is being well spent.

Senator George Brandis, the Minister for the Arts, has ordered an inquiry into the activities of Opera Australia, Opera Queensland, State Opera South Australia, and West Australian Opera, in order to determine whether the $32 million funding they collectively receive is well spent.
