This body of work, on display until 14 December at Friends of Leon Gallery, is about losing friends and finding new ones, about a man’s relationship with his work and a friendship with a fish.

But more specifically, A Fish Tale is about Stormie Mills’ relationship with filmmaker Mark Strong who became inspired to write a story by a piece titled ‘I miss my friend and I want him back’ painted in 2008 for a solo exhibition loss + endings.
