$1.5 million pledge for regional museum

A large donation has been pledged in support of improving a regional museum in Victoria.

The Copulos family, through the Peter and Maria Copulos Foundation, has pledged to donate $3 million to the Shepparton community over a period of 10 years, $1.5 million of which will go to the Shepparton Art Museum (SAM).

The donation has been announced in the hope of creating a completely new SAM.
