Louise Herron, who recently departed the Sydney Opera House, has joined Powerhouse Parramatta as Strategic Adviser, assisting in the wake of the departure of CEO Lisa Havilah. Film agency Ausfilm has also made key reappointments to its board.

Ausfilm reelects board members
Ausfilm, which helps connect international filmmakers with Australian opportunities and expertise, has confirmed the reelection of two of its board members.
Yasmine Lintmeijer, Head of Disney Studios Australia, has been reappointed for a further three-year term. Emma Drummond, Netflix Animation Studios’ VP, Studio Management – Sydney, has also been reelected as Deputy Chair.
‘Yasmine brings valuable insight and experience from one of Australia’s leading studio operations, while Emma’s legal and international screen industry expertise is an important asset to the board,’ said Ausfilm Chair Samantha Martin-Williams.
These skills added ‘particular value given the way our board brings together government and industry,’ said Martin Williams. ‘That combination is central to providing a direct connection between the businesses delivering productions in Australia and the government agencies working to strengthen our screen ecosystem.’
The Ausfilm Board also includes senior staffers at screen agencies Screen Australia, Screen NSW, VicScreen, South Australian Film Corporation and Screen Queensland.
