Sydney’s Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative farewells a founding member, and the Biennale of Sydney and Brisbane’s Circa announce key senior appointments.
The Biennale of Sydney has appointed Low Kee Hong as the Artistic Director for the next edition in 2028.
‘Her work helped strengthen Boomalli’s foundations and supported its growth into the organisation it is today.
‘Bronwyn has also been a tireless advocate for artists’ rights, particularly in the areas of copyright and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property. Through her leadership, advocacy and knowledge-sharing, she has helped artists and staff understand their rights, protect their cultural knowledge and maintain authority and control over their creative work.
