It might seem strange that we think non-smokers need a special job tip. But in some workplaces smoking seems to be an advantage, conferring a right to extra breaks and an opportunity for extra networking.

While some companies are starting to limit cigarette breaks to the breaks that are already permitted, some workplaces are more lax with smoking breaks than other distractions, particularly if your boss is a smoker.
