You’ve already opened up a copy of your CV as you sit down to read this, haven’t you? We don’t blame you; even the smallest detail can shape up a resume to professional status. The small detail we’ll be discussing this time is the necessity to leave a few choice words off your CV.


No, I’m not referring to cuss words (though these should NEVER appear on your resume). The words I’m talking of are ‘creative’, ‘effective’, ‘motivated’, and (cringe) ‘extensive experience’, which are the top overused words in Australian LinkedIn profiles according to the social networking site.
