Do you think only applying for jobs online, using the same cover letter for every position and opting not to promote yourself through LinkedIn and Twitter is a good way to get employed? Think again. These are just a few of the bad habits that all job seekers need to break if they’re serious about finding a new position.

Other bad habits include not preparing for an interview, applying for the same jobs in the same areas, not keeping up with your industry of choice, and only applying for jobs with large or well-known companies.
