Manifestations of Now is an intriguing exhibition currently showing in Federation Square, devised by the newly formed artist run initiative We Australians.org. The collective is comprised of 18 contemporary Australian artists, all with diverse art practices and cultural traditions. The collective embodies a variety of mediums: drawing, sculpture, video installation, photography, live performance and hybrid artforms.
Intentions for the Melbourne based group lie within exploration of representing contemporary Australia — endeavouring to support artistic innovation that emerges from within Australia’s mesh of cultural diversity.
