Expressions of Interest for Victorian creative industries boards

Creative leaders and skilled community members across Victoria are invited to express their interest in joining a Victorian creative industries board.
Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for people with skills, experience and an interest in serving on the boards of some of Victoria’s leading creative and cultural organisations.
People who submit their interest will be included in a talent pool for consideration for board positions when vacancies arise. They do not need to have experience working for an arts organisation or in the creative industries to express their interest.
The talent pool will support Victorian Government appointments to the boards of ACMI, Arts Centre Melbourne, Docklands Studios Melbourne, Geelong Arts Centre, Museums Victoria, Melbourne Recital Centre, Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation, National Gallery of Victoria, State Library Victoria, The Wheeler Centre, VicScreen, Victorian Opera, Heide Museum of Modern Art, RISING and ACCA.
The EOI process welcomes applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people of all ages including young people aged 18-34 years, women, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ people and rural and regional Victorians.
Information about the EOI process, a position description for board roles and details on the application process are now available on the Victorian Government’s Join a Public Board website – www.boards.vic.gov.au
EOIs close at 11:59pm, 8 October 2025.
