Development Coordinator
Darwin Festival is seeking an experienced Development Coordinator!
The Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Development Manager to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, funders, donors, and other stakeholders. This position is central to the administration and delivery of the Development department’s activities, particularly in the areas of sponsorship, hospitality, advertising, and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Management: Assist in sponsorship relationship management, preparing proposals, contracts, and partnership reports.
- Hospitality & Advertising: Develop, sell, and coordinate corporate hospitality packages and advertising opportunities (both print and digital).
- Fundraising Support: Contribute to public fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategies.
- Administrative Coordination: Maintain databases of sponsors, donors, and VIPs; manage deliverables and schedules.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Ticketing to fulfil media partnerships and promotional obligations.

- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and event coordination.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sponsorship administration.
Reporting & Scope
- Reports to the Development Manager.
- No direct reports.
- Holds key relationships with internal teams and external partners including government, philanthropic bodies, and local businesses.
