We are looking for a Creative Arts and Design Technician (Textiles) to bring energy, organisation, and expertise to our dynamic team in a permanent, part-time (0.8 FTE) role, commencing Term 4, 2025.

Your Role in the Adventure:

  • Create engaging and efficient learning spaces by preparing and maintaining textiles and food technology equipment.
  • Find the fun in supporting students and staff with hands-on demonstrations and class preparation.
  • Blaze a trail in practical learning, ensuring our classrooms are well-stocked, safe, and inspiring.
  • Be a force for good by fostering a collaborative and positive learning environment.

What You Bring:

  • Certificate III or IV in Clothing Industry Studies or equivalent experience
  • Experience in stock control, textiles handling, and food preparation.
  • Knowledge of textile equipment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Current National Police Clearance, Working with Children Card, First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Experience in pattern making, yarn work, or screen printing (highly regarded).
  • Experience with other materials design (metals, wood) highly regarded.
