Zine Lab: Paper Protest is a hands-on school holiday workshop where participants learn the art of zine-making, the DIY print medium that’s been amplifying young voices since the punk era. Bring your opinions, ideas, and things worth saying.
This session features a special guest artist, Judy Kuo, a queer Asian-Australian artist, and activist, and member of the Workers Art Collective, whose practice is grounded in worker power, anti-racism, disability justice, and refugee rights.
Over the course of the day, you’ll learn how to design, cut, collage and fold your own zine from scratch and use it as a tool for self-expression, storytelling, and advocacy. Whatever you care about, this is your page.
