Meeting weekly via zoom on Monday nights at 8pm, these sessions are hosted by a neurodivergent writer including Beau Windon, Jasper Peach, Jenny Hedley, Zoe Simmons, Heidi Everett, Natalie Williams and Jacinta Dietrich. Join us for a welcoming, one-hour writing session designed for anyone who identifies as neurodivergent – no diagnosis necessary. Each session includes a writing prompt or activity, time for silent writing and an (optional) facilitated group conversation in a supportive environment. You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable: camera on or off; join in the conversation or simply listen. Share your words or thoughts in the chat, if you like. You can use the writing prompt for inspiration or work on your own piece. Feel free to take breaks when you need to. This is a space for creativity and connection – on your terms. Write Your Way is presented as part of Writers Victoria’s Writeability program. Writeability aims to amplify the voices of d/Deaf and disabled writers and to facilitate more nuanced and authentic representations of disability in literature
