In this hands-on workshop you will design and construct a layered engaging diorama. Explore scale and depth to translate your vision into small scale three-dimensional scene. Bring you diorama to life with photos, textures, sound and found objects—including miniature human figures. Expand your understanding of how materials, space, atmosphere and storytelling interact in art-making. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have crafted a unique diorama that not only captures a moment or memory but also demonstrates new approaches to combining media in small-scale installation art.
This workshop is part of the exhibition The Night Passes. Find out more about The Night Passes.
