Reef and coastal ecosystems are environments of inspiration, where many of us escape to rejuvenate, enveloped in the natural world.

About the Artist
Jeanette Muirhead is a Kamberri/ Canberra-based painter observing and capturing objects and moments typically from the natural world and her surroundings. Jeanette interprets these scenes as a means of sharing, re-living and examining, often as realistic narratives. Her work is influenced by a background in biological science and environmental management, which has helped fuel her respect and fascination with the natural world, the effects of colour and light, and the interpretation of form.
