Weaving Worlds is an immersive workshop that celebrates the rich tapestry of global music. This is a rare and unique creative learning experience for the whole family, perfect for music enthusiasts and creatives alike and suitable for all ages, abilities, musical backgrounds and levels of musical experience.
The workshop is a collaboration between Brisbane-based artists Menaka Thomas (Indian-Fusion singer), Kelsey Giarola, (vocal coach and songwriter), and Tsoof Baras, (percussionist and composer) with Sunshine Coast talent Yvonne Corstorphin (Director, Cool Harmonies Community Choir).
The workshop will explore and weave together the musical worlds of the artists – from the song traditions of India to the modern and contemporary genres of expression.
