Guests will begin their experience at Hillside Harvest, nestled in the rolling hills of Borenore, with sweeping views of Mount Canobolas. The day starts in the orchard’s original packing shed, now beautifully repurposed into
an art space. Local artist Kerrie Stewart, who also runs Hillside Harvest’s popular children’s workshops, will guide participants through a relaxed and engaging art session. With her expert tips and encouraging approach, even
beginners will be surprised by what they can create.
While painting, guests will enjoy tea or coffee and a generous slice of homemade apple cake, made fresh in the farm kitchen with apples straight from the orchard.
Once their masterpieces are complete, the experience continues with a visit to Orange Mountain Estate. Vignerons Terry and Julie will welcome guests to their boutique winery for a behind-the-scenes tour. After a stroll through the vineyard and a look inside the working winery, the group will gather in the tasting room to sample a selection of handcrafted, basket-pressed wines that have earned acclaim across the region.
