A dynamic two-day professional development workshop tailored for artists, performers, and creative practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of the technical dimensions of performance-making.
Led by four renowned artists and technical specialists—Dave Thomson, Henry Barratt, Roderick Price, and Toni Main—this workshop offers hands-on exploration of lighting, sound, projection mapping, AV installation, site rigging, scenographic design, and performance interfacing.
Expect hands-on experimentation, expert insight, and collaborative processes designed to deepen your technical fluency and unlock new narrative potential in your work.
Day 1: Hands-on exploration into the technical elements of stage craft. Each presenter will share insights into their creative and technical practice and deliver a mini-workshop that actively engages participants.
Day 2: Present exploratory works developed during Day 1. Using sound, light, projection, and stage craft, participants will share their creative investigations for feedback and refinement.
