The Creativerse – a brand-new children’s festival where art, tech and play collide returns to Bendigo on Saturday 3 October.
The Creativerse is a playground of possibilities – free & ticketed events that spark imagination and bring families together through creative discovery. Interactive installations. Live performances. Hands-on workshops. Build something amazing. Watch creativity come alive. Make memories that last. Perfect for families with kids 3-12.
Free events as part of THE IMMERSIVE ZONE include:

MANGA & COMIC WORKSHOPS
Artist and animator Kenny Chan runs three 60-minute sessions: Manga Drawing (5–8yrs and 8-12yrs) and Comic Panelling (9–14yrs).

* The Immersive Zone includes collaborations with Polyglot Theatre, Bendigo Art Gallery, Golden Dragon Museum, Castlemaine Circus, Snigel The Snail, Zoë Barry and Jason Tamiru, as well as the Country & Belonging Immersive exhibition, featuring collaborating artists Annie Brigdale, Neil Morris, Josie Gower, Leonie Van Eyk and Jim Coad, whose practices span First Nations art and culture, music and sound, painting, weaving, filmmaking, photography, puppetry and large-scale projection.
The Creativerse is designed for everyone to enjoy, with quiet zones, accessible experiences, and plenty of free activities—so every family can be part of the magic.
