Be inspired by the still life artworks in the Georges River Art Prize 2025 exhibition and create your own fabric masterpiece in this hands-on workshop.
Explore the art of still life using textiles as your medium. You’ll learn how to observe shapes and forms, experiment with colour and composition, and ‘paint’ with fabric through layering, glueing, and simple stitching techniques. Whether you’re an experienced maker or just starting out, this workshop is all about creativity and expression—no sewing experience needed!
Discover how everyday objects can tell a visual story and walk away with your very own textile still life to take home.
