Join us for a conversation between exhibiting artists Tanya Court, Alex Stone and Lee Kelly led by Dr Athanasios Lazarou, Lecturer in architectural history and theory at the University of Adelaide.  A limited bar will be available along with complimentary hospitality.

About the Artist 

Tanya Court is the Director of Tanya Court Projects, a multidisciplinary practice drawing on her landscape architecture and artistic abilities. Originally trained as an artist at Curtin University, Tanya then studied landscape architecture at RMIT and spent many years in professional practice. She has taught and lectured extensively, including at the University of Melbourne and the University of Adelaide, where she held the position of Program Director of Landscape Architecture (2006-2022). Her PhD, ‘The Site Re-presented’, was completed in 2018 at RMIT. Her ceramic work includes investigations that combine interests in landscape, site, geology, plants, ikebana and gardening, Recent concerns explore alternative ceramic materials, including recycled, foraged and repurposed products, focusing on unpredictability, and experimental forms.

Sauerbier House is open Wednesday to Friday 10-am – 4pm and Saturdays 1-4pm and by appointment on Tuesdays. Closed on public holidays.
