Award winning Queensland arts organisation, SWELL Sculpture, presents world renowned artists in an 11-day celebration of water, connection to nature and community. Waterlines is a captivating eco experience, set to gently awaken the spectacular landscape of Hinze Dam and the surrounding Gold Coast Hinterland.
You will experience two larger-than-life land art installations created by feature artists Marcus Tatton and Shannon Best. Soundscape kayak tours on the dam composed by sound artist, Corrina Bonshek & Collaborators, a long table forest feast, artist talks, edible garden tours, creative workshops, bushwalking, yoga and more.Â
The Hinze Dam is built into the landscape, 30 minutes west of Burleigh Heads. The dam itself is industrious and picturesque. SWELL Sculpture’s, Waterlines, is a celebration of connecting people, art, and place, a welcoming space for the audience to immerse in art, nature, and the environment.
Waterlines is set to impress all who visit. 26 April to 6 May 2024, Hinze Dam and surrounding Gold Coast Hinterland.Â
