Join artist Emma Ikin for an engaging screening and artist talk featuring her animated films Sunkland Junctionand Pockets of Permanence.
Emma will share insights into her creative process, explore the animation techniques behind her evocative works, and discuss her latest project responding to the Alpine landscape and unique environment of Bogong Village.
Working across animation, small sculpture, and large-scale site-specific installations, Emma has exhibited at the St Kilda Film Festival, South Side Festival, Brisbane Festival, Frankston Arts Centre, and the BienalSur – the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires. She is also a past participant in Craft Victoria’s Artist in Residence program.
Emma is currently based in Frankston and is undertaking a two-week residency at the Bogong Centre for Sound Culture in Bogong Village.
