Keep the kids entertained these school holidays at Bunjil Place – we have pulled together the best of the best shows, activities, and films to make this summer awesome!
Join us in Bunjil Place Plaza for Summer Spider Movies—three family-friendly, spider-themed films in the great outdoors! Inspired by María Fernanda Cardoso’s Spiders in Paradise exhibition, this outdoor film program is all about celebrating those eight-legged wonders. Bring a picnic, gather your loved ones, and enjoy a creepy, crawly, and fun evening of spider movies. Don’t miss this unique summer event for the whole family, and the best part – it’s free!
If you really love spiders, then you’re going to LOVE celebrating your favourite eight-legged friends at Bunjil Place’s FREE Spider Appreciation Day on January 11 from 12.00 – 6.00 pm. Children, families and the young at heart can enjoy an afternoon filled with spider-themed activities and performances, all in honour of the beloved arachnid.
Budding filmmakers will love our series of filmmaking workshops, for kids aged 12-14 or 15-18 – these multi day workshops culminate in a screening of your films for family and friends!
NGV Kids On Tour are also back with FREE creative fun – drop into Bunjil Place from 11.00 am – 2.00 pm on Tuesday 13, 14 & 15 January for hands on art and craft activities inspired by exhibitions at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Finally, Bluey’s Big Play returns to Bunjil Place on 28 & 29 January, for real life! When Dad feels like a little bit of afternoon time out, Bluey and Bingo have other plans! Join them as they pull out all of the games and cleverness at their disposal to get Dad off that bean bag.
