St Albans Secondary College is a co-educational school located in the west of Melbourne. Students come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. At the college, 53 different nationalities express their unique cultural practices and perspectives through the Arts. Sharing and collaborating with their peers, students co-create artworks that are unique within the Melbourne arts diaspora.
The staff at the college are dedicated to creating opportunities for students to enrich their lives through engagement with and expression through the visual and performing arts. The exhibition is a rare glimpse into the potential that is unlocked when we are able to embrace cultural diversity and share, appreciate, know, collaborate and negotiate cultural divides.
