These school holidays, dive into a world where music and art come alive!

Experience the magic where music meets art in a fun and interactive workshop with Meredith Connie, our current Artist in Residence.

In this special one-off session, you’ll explore how sound and imagery come together to tell stories. Meredith, a composer, performer, and educator, will guide you through creative activities that pair classical guitar music with drawing and visual expression. You’ll listen to live music, experiment with sound and colour, and discover how certain notes can spark shapes, feelings, and imagination.

There’ll be poetry, performance, and plenty of opportunities to join in. This family-friendly workshop is perfect for curious kids and creative grown-ups alike -whether you love music, art, or just trying something new!
Children aged 6–11 must be accompanied by a carer.

No experience or materials are needed, just bring your listening ears, open mind, and big imagination.

Tickets are available now, and each ticket is valid for one participant.

To find out more about Meredith’s residency, visit the Artist in Residence webpage Georges River Council – Artist in residence.

Don’t miss this special opportunity to explore the world where sound becomes art!
