Join visual artist Evie Cahir as she takes visitors through her recent works created whilst in the Parr Studio at Billilla Mansion. Evie will lead a casual walking-tour of the surrounding studio area to view the changes in season and appreciate the gardens that have inspired her artistic output at the studio.
Evie Cahir is a visual artist working predominantly in painting and drawing. Her focus on colour and light as a vehicle for emotional and spatial awareness forms the core of her artistic exploration and expression.
Following on from her formal study in Illustration, Cahir has shown in prominent art institutions such as Art Gallery of Ballarat, Castlemaine Art Museum, and she is soon presenting a solo exhibition at the historic Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf, Sydney. She has been the recipient of multiple international art residencies including: Skopelos Foundation for the Arts, Greece in 2023 and Arteles Art Residency, Finland in 2016.
