Sing For Your Supra
Sunday 7 September

In a unique and intimate blend of travel show meets cabaret, audiences will be transported to the infamous Caucasus region where East meets West. Your guide is singer Stephanie Clare-Cover, who will share stories form her life-changing travels to Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and sing songs she was taught by locals in languages such as Georgian, Russian and French.

Teas and wines from the regions will be served to enchant your mind, delight your senses and take you to another world where music is an unstoppable, uplifting force that binds people, creates belonging and celebrates life.

 

Salon Project

Salon Project is a Kingston-based chamber music ensemble made up of highly experienced, world-traveled musicians with a shared passion for intimate, powerful musical storytelling. Known for their dynamic and engaging performances, the group brings a fresh and approachable energy to classical music, connecting deeply with audiences of all ages. Their upcoming concert features the beloved piano trio lineup – violin, cello, and piano – in a program of masterworks: Brahms’ intense and lyrical Piano Trio No. 3 in C Minor, and Beethoven’s majestic Piano Trio in B-Flat Major, Opus 97, the “Archduke.” Salon Project invites you to experience chamber music at its most vibrant and captivating.

 

Their Voices Soar: A Capella Masterpieces Inspired by Birdsong

The Consort of Melbourne is an elite vocal ensemble that champions both historic and contemporary repertoire, comprising a core membership of eight of Melbourne’s finest chamber singers under the artistic direction of Steven Hodgson. 

Typically performing a capella (unaccompanied) with one singer per part, The Consort of Melbourne will bring 1000 years of stunning birdsong-inspired music to life with an intimacy and verve that will leave the audience spellbound.
