In a conscious effort to slow down and emphasise the details that may otherwise be overlooked, we seek to understand the context and impact of what is being observed. Building upon Callum’s 2022 Sauerbier House residency which explored the interplay between the collection, documentation and conservation of objects found on-site, this exhibition focuses on the dynamic behaviours of the overall environment that evolves over time.

OPENING Saturday 7 March 2-4pm
Please join us to celebrate an exhibition of insightful new works. Official business will start at 2:30pm with limited bar and light hospitality available throughout the afternoon.
Artist Talks – Saturday 14 March 2pm
Join Callum Docherty in the Lounge Gallery at Sauerbier House for an artist talk, as he unpacks the process behind creating his exhibition ‘Site Seeing Site’. Callum will be discussing how this current exhibition has extended and evolved from his 2022 residency at Sauerbier House, along with the experimental photography practices he is developing within his own multidisciplinary creative practice and how these practices have become a vehicle, informing his current body of work.
Callum will be joining exhibiting artist Alan Cook for artist talks and gallery tours of their respective exhibitions.
