You’ve never seen The Bard like this!
Based on a single audience suggestion, watch Lightbulb Improv create two fully improvised Shakespearean masterpieces right before your eyes. Nothing has been planned or written in advance for the comedy and drama about to unfold in this art of “faketh till you maketh”.
Each performance is a completely new work, inspired by Shakespearean words, intrigues and themes. All dialogue is devised on the spot, all characters created as you watch. All the stage is a world not yet explored!
Experience two new plays every night, as audiences witness a new tragedy and comedy performed back-to-back by Canberra’s premier improvised theatre company.
As an antidote to our often predictable lives, Lightbulb brings you spontaneous entertainment and creates laughter in the unexpected. They’ll delight you with their unique flavour of warm, funny and surprising unscripted theatre. Since 2016, Lightbulb has performed in comedy festivals and international festivals and love bringing their improvised magic to Canberra. The troupe create shows with a strong sense of play and honesty that keeps audiences coming back.
