Sentient
Elliot Fox
Elliott Fox is an emerging artist whose mixed media practice is deeply grounded in principles of empathy and advocacy. On the back of a spectacular début solo exhibition, Saint Grey on greyhounds and dog racing that travelled across Australia and raised over $8,000 donated to charity, he now brings together several of his recent soulful and thought-provoking works. Sentient follows Elliott’s current art series on greyhound advocacy, and looks at the sentience of all non-human animals as deserving of the same care, protection and love as any other family member. Artwork mediums include impasto paintings, screen prints, and an installation.
Sentient will open alongside Shorelines by Helen Brancatisano, Miriam Cullen, and Trish Yates, Bloom by Eggpicnic, and Partial Index by Dörte Conroy.
