This is not your average crochet class! Textile Time is a new upcycling workshop that encourages you to create with your own ideas, while being guided by textile expert Lexi Simmonds. Start your own project or learn to make something new like a rug, weaving, basket or more!
Things that you might bring in for your upcycling project:
- an old item of clothing to be mended or revived
- unfinished projects, such as granny square blankets or a quilt
- any yarn or material to make into yarn
A variety of textiles and yarn will be available, or feel free to bring your own. The atmosphere will be open, easygoing and will invite conversation between participants and Lexi.
This series welcomes both beginners and experienced individuals—everyone can learn and share something valuable. Attend workshops individually or work on projects throughout the series.
