The Queensland Figurative is a non-acquisitive art competition held by the Royal Queensland Art Society that celebrates the dynamic role of the human figure in visual art.
Open exclusively to artists residing in Queensland, this competition seeks paintings where the human form is not merely present but clearly integrated into, and an important part of the overall composition of the work—whether through literal depictions or more abstract interpretations.
