Antique quilts sewn by soldiers featuring brightly coloured military fabrics from eighteen and nineteenth century uniforms will be on display in this extraordinary exhibition. From complex geometric patterns to biblical images and exotic animals these quilts date to the Prussian, Napoleonic, and Crimean wars, as well as British India.

This exhibition reveals new and unseen treasures, including quilts acquired in Australia and internationally, from the private collection of Annette Gero. An Adelaide-exclusive exhibition not to be missed. Accompanied by an extensive exhibition catalogue available for purchase.
