One Song Histoire(s) Du Théâtre IV, from Flemish artist Miet Warlop, presents its Australian premiere season at RISING.
It’s both a theatre performance and live concert in one – one song is performed over and over again by a squad of musicians, simultaneously running an obstacle course of balance beams and treadmills. Until the lactic acid sets in, and they almost collapse from exhaustion.
Hearts will race when one song is infused into your very veins as the musicians speed it up, break it down, and sweat it out to the finish line. It’s nothing short of inspirational.
