Neighbourhood Noise is an open invitation for the community to experience live music and experimental arts across Brunswick. Arts Merri-bek partners – including Counihan Gallery, Brunswick Library, Next Wave, Balam Balam Place and Blak Dot Gallery – will activate their spaces with live performances, activities and interactive installations on March 7.
From punk energy at the Library to music and image in conversation at Counihan Gallery. This is a day to celebrate and explore the pillars of Merri-bek’s creative community.

Celebrating the exhibitions ‘Through our Eyes’ and ‘A Conch Choir’, currently on show in at Blak Dot Gallery.
12pm: Gulan – A Visual and Sound Installation by Leon Rodgers
Multidisciplinary artist Leon Rodgers brings playful audiovisual territory to the Mechanics Institute.
2pm: Pit Yourself Against by Ma Ei With Naung Yoe
Burmese singer-songwriter Naung Yoe performs live in response to visual artist Ma Ei’s exhibition Pit Yourself Against.
5pm: Live At The Library – Riot Baby + Thndo
Riot Baby brings their punk energy to Brunswick Library!
