Opening Saturday 3 October 2–4pm

Please join Margaret to celebrate the launch of Encroachment, the result of twelve weeks spent in studio as artist in residence. We welcome guest speaker Catherine Truman, artist and mentor to formally open the event from 2.30pm.

Investigating the human condition and our fragile relationship to the natural, built and personal environments are core themes in Ambridge’s work. Known and nationally awarded for her sensitive and powerful drawings, Margaret explores the impact on the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park by built forms, encroachment of suburbia, colonising structures, and invasive species.

Sauerbier House hours

Wednesdays – Friday 10-4pm, Saturdays 1-4pm
