Opening Event Thursday 15 October, 6-8pm Free.
Nicole Voevodin-Cash is an Australian interdisciplinary artist with a 30-year practice grounded in phenomenology and the sensory experience of space. Her work uses walking, touch and embodied movement as tools for mark making, form generation and audience connection.
Employing processes such as inflatables with constant airflow, ancient folding and binding techniques, and repurposing everyday materials, she creates environments that invite exploration, lingering and playful participation.
Whether shaping space through ephemeral gestures, casting ghost-like forms or constructing large-scale interventions in the landscape, her practice reclaims both materials and sites as evolving, interactive fields where art is experienced through active engagement rather than passive observation. This project has been supported through FutureNow and MADEsc funding from Sunshine Coast Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
