Join us for an intimate life drawing session at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf.
Facilitated by local artist Alice Palmer, this special edition of our monthly Life Drawing Salon Series will explore the theme of friendship in art and artmaking through the dynamic interaction of two life models.
Throughout the evening, participants will be invited to draw from a series of choreographed poses that examine the emotional and physical aspects of friendship – tension, balance, connection, holding and care. The two models will work together to create expressive, interconnected poses that embody these qualities, offering a unique drawing experience.
Whether you’re new to life drawing or a seasoned artist, this session encourages thoughtful observation and creative interpretation. The evening will begin with quick gesture drawings and progress to longer poses, with Alice Palmer offering guidance and insights to support your practice.
Expect a warm, welcoming environment, light refreshments and the chance to connect with fellow creatives as we reflect on the beauty of human connection through the lens of drawing.
