Create a detailed still life composition of your favourite food in this school holiday workshop for 9-12 year olds.
To begin, we will look at drawings by Janet Dawson in the exhibition, Far Away, So Close, who created vivid studies of vegetables and fruit, and explore her methods and techniques. Then, working from an arrangement of selected fruits and vegetables, you will create an observational study of your own using pencils and soft pastels.
The workshop is fully supervised. All materials are provided.
