Craft, dance, sing and create this Spring with Kaleidoscope Kids.

Kaleidoscope Kids is a school holiday arts program that encourages creativity through active learning, experimentation, artistic creation and fun. Developed for 5 to 13 year-olds, Kaleidoscope Kids offers activities and workshops ranging from acting and music to visual arts and crafts. There’s something to inspire every child’s imagination.  

All sessions are guided by skilled artist-educators and supported by dedicated staff.

MONDAY 29 September

Petal Prints: Gel Plate Printing with Melissa Gaggiano

Roll up for a morning of printing-made-easy, with local artist Melissa Gaggiano. Together we will produce small flower prints using a layered gel plate process. All materials supplied. Participants may get paint stains on their clothes, dress as appropriate.  

Workshop: Monday 29 September, 10am – 12pm
Admission: $20 + Booking Fee

TUESDAY 30 September

Blooming Threads: Punch Needle Embroidery with Melissa Gaggiano

Spring into mindful action with an embroidery technique that can be mastered within one session. Together we will create embroidered samplers, inspired by nature. This workshop will begin your journey into a free form textile adventure, from making your own cushions, to creating rugs and wall art! 

Workshop: Tuesday 30 September, 10am – 12pm 
Admission: $20 + Booking Fee

Canvas Creatures: Create a Flower Bird on Canvas with Rebel Stepz Arts

Get ready to snip, stick, and splash some colour! In this fun and hands-on workshop, kids will create their very own flower bird masterpiece on canvas using craft flowers, paint, and a whole lot of imagination. 

No experience needed – just bring your creativity and get ready to make something beautiful to take home and hang on the wall. It’s the perfect blend of art, nature, and a little bit of magic this spring!

WEDNESDAY 1 October

The Beat Lab with Big Racket Studio

Big Racket Studio are back and this time you’ll be learning how to sequence beats, basslines, and melodies to build your very own song. Using Move, a fun tool for music-making, you’ll discover how to layer sounds and develop your own original song. When the workshop wraps up, you’ll get to share your song and hear everyone else’s beats!

THURSDAY 2 October

Act! Sing! Create! with The Australian Musical Theatre Academy

Step into the spotlight these school holidays with a magical morning inspired by one of the world’s most beloved movie musicals — WICKED!

Guided by a dynamic team of theatre professionals — including a director, musical director, and visual artist — children will sing, act, and create their very own Wicked-inspired masterpiece.

Young performers are invited to come dressed as their favourite character from Wicked and bring the story to life through fun-filled theatre games and show-stopping songs from the musical. The workshop finishes with a creative art activity that captures the heart and spirit of the musical WICKED!

Perfect for building confidence, sparking imagination and developing performance skills — this high-energy workshop is the ultimate musical theatre experience for primary school children.

It’s creativity, confidence and musical magic all rolled into one unforgettable morning!

Don’t forget to bring your water bottle and snacks.
