Join textile artist Allanah Sarafian for this new and exciting workshop!
Discover the tactile joy of punch needle embroidery in this hands-on beginner workshop.
Over two hours, you’ll learn the basics of punch needling, explore a few different stitches, and start your own textural artwork using a pre-traced design.
At the end of the session, you’ll head home with your punch needle, in-progress artwork and all the skills you need to complete it at your own pace.
All materials provided. Bookings are essential.

About the Facilitator
Allanah Sarafian is a textile artist known for her playful and tactile works, primarily created through tufting. Her art has been exhibited at venues including Bundoora Homestead Art Centre. With a background that spans visual art education, costume design, and performance, Allanah brings a vibrant energy to every creative space—she even starred as Chilli in Bluey’s Big Play (as seen on ABC iView). Her workshops blend technical skill with imagination, making fibre art accessible, fun and deeply personal.
