Immersion on Country is a visual story of the influence the landscape has on the featured artists Marina Strocchi and Beth Williams. Each artist has responded to the timeless quality of Country and its changing moods – reflecting the light and the ephemeral nature of the surrounding farmland, bushland and hills which envelop our valley. Sometimes reminiscent of other landscapes, but always uniquely “home”.
Marina Strocchi is inspired by the views on her travels, paricularly between home and her studio and the patterns along the way. Beth Williams has immersed herself in the local landscape – capturing moments along roadsides and farmland en plain air.
This exhibition is wheelchair accessible through the rear entrance on Furmston Lane.
