HERE NOW Trilogy, created and performed by Ryuichi Fujimura, is a compelling series of three short dance solos: How Did I Get Here?, How I Practice My Religion, and Fall! Falter!! Dance!!!.
Blending dry wit, poignant storytelling, and striking physicality, Fujimura presents a deeply personal reflection on his life, exploring themes of aging, identity, and the relentless desire to keep performing.
This trilogy, highlighting his 25-year career as a contemporary dancer, marks the first time these solos are presented together. Each piece traces an artist’s journey through the passage of time, the body’s shifting capabilities, and the very art of performance.
