Daisy Chain Quilt – 3 Day Workshop with Helen Draper
Daisy Chain Quilt is the perfect project for everyone who loves to cut and sew by hand. The 14-inch blocks each have two Dresden Plate units and two Arc units. These units then combine to create the daisies and linked-chains design.
In this three-day workshop you will learn how to make the units using both easy hand piecing and curved piecing techniques to finish a block.
The full pattern will be included in the workshop so you can finish the quilt at home. Or, if you prefer, make your block into a cushion.

Three different workshops with Chris Jurd – one each day! Enhance your skills and learn some new techniques.
Day 1 – Freeform cutting and piecing
- Free-form cutting, curved piecing, improv quilt.
Day 2 – Phoenix Quilt block
- Fabulous vintage block made using freezer paper templates and fused quarter inch bias.
Day 3 – Dugout Diamonds blocks
- Foundation pieced “made fabric” or fussy cut large prints with a narrow black border separating the solid fabric rectangles – great scrap buster!
